Description We are looking for a skilled Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and provide strategic insights. This long-term contract position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in consolidation accounting and technical expertise in regulatory reporting and financial statement preparation. The role demands precision, analytical skills, and experience with advanced accounting systems such as Oracle. Responsibilities: • Manage and execute all operational accounting functions to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. • Consolidate financial data to prepare comprehensive financial statements. • Evaluate and implement accounting processes to align with regulatory requirements and industry standards. • Maintain and enhance internal controls to support compliance and operational efficiency. • Oversee intercompany accounting activities, ensuring proper reconciliation and reporting. • Lead month-end close processes, including the preparation and review of journal entries. • Monitor statutory accounting practices and ensure adherence to legal and regulatory guidelines. • Utilize Oracle or similar systems to streamline consolidation and close activities. • Provide technical accounting support to address complex financial and reporting issues. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial objectives. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles and CPA a plus! • Strong expertise in billing functions, regulatory reporting, and consolidated financial statements. • Proficiency in managing internal controls and intercompany accounting. • Hands-on experience with Oracle or similar accounting software. • Knowledge of month-end close processes and statutory accounting practices. • Familiarity with technical accounting principles and financial statement preparation. • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills. • Prior experience in the manufacturing or public industry is highly preferred.
