Description We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Accounting Manager to support ongoing inventory and intercompany accounting operations. This role will focus on analyzing large data sets, preparing journal entries, and maintaining accurate month-to-month workpapers. The ideal candidate will have strong SAP and Excel skills, experience with reconciliations and roll forwards, and an exceptional attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: + Analyze and interpret large data sets in Excel to support inventory and revenue accounting. + Perform reconciliations and prepare accounting roll forwards across inventory, intercompany, and revenue accounts. + Manage monthly journal entry (JE) preparation and general ledger (GL) activities using SAP (Material Master and SAP GL). + Document monthly financial analysis and reviews to meet audit standards and support internal and external audit requests. + Maintain and update month-to-month workpapers to ensure timely and accurate reporting. + Track inventory movements, material purchases, and product sales to franchisees. + Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, procurement, and audit teams to support business operations and transitions. Requirements + Extensive experience working with large data sets and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. + Strong understanding of inventory accounting, intercompany transactions, and revenue recognition. + Proficiency in SAP systems, including SAP GL and Material Master data. + Demonstrated experience with journal entry preparation, account reconciliations, and roll forwards. + High attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and documentation. + Ability to clearly communicate and document complex financial data for internal review and audit purposes. + Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
