Accounting manager

Accounting Manager (H/F)

In a context of reorganization of our Finance department, you will support the accounting team in redefining Order-to-Cash processes and optimizing cash collection in France. Our business model involves the management of third-party payment from French Social Security and mutual insurance companies. You will work within a matrix international organization, ensuring that your activities are aligned with European and global strategy.

 

Key Responsibilities

Manage the Order-to-Cash process, ensuring the correctness of the process to match from our stores to our accounting systems the right orders and invoices. Ensure that the sub-ledgers and transitory accounts are reconciled at a monthly basis. Manage the billing part for our B2B activities. Manage the Intra-group billing. Apply the correct cash applications by type of clients and regional. Refund customers.  Manage the credit management process. Ensure the dunning report for credit recovery. Liaise with external cash collectors our targets and process. Build a strong relationship with our financial partners. Focal point for the month-end closing process. Follow-up monthly reports, KPIs and internal control dashboard. Manage the external and internal stakeholders. Manage the teams of Cash Applications and Credit management.

 

What do you bring?

Bachelor or master’s degree in Accounting or Finance. At least 5 years of experience in managing Order-to-Cash and Credit management activities, including management of a team. Strong analytical skills and business acumen. An experience in retail would be a plus. Advanced Excel skills are mandatory. Knowledge of ERP (ideally Oracle) and Point-of-Sales systems would be preferred.  Fluent French and English skills are mandatory.
