Accounting Manager
Description We are offering an exciting role for an Accounting Manager in the Healthcare and Social Assistance industry located in Las Vegas, Nevada. This job requires the individual to perform a range of financial and accounting tasks within a hospital setting, such as coordinating audit documentation, performing account reconciliations, and leading month-end close procedures. Responsibilities • Supervise, direct, train, and coordinate a team of financial and accounting staff • Coordinate the preparation of and complete the review of annual audit documentation • Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure accurate financial reporting • Lead month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial statements • Utilize advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting • Prepare budgets and financial forecasts in accordance with GAAP Accounting principles • Perform balance sheet account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data • Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded • Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner • Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions. Requirements • Proven experience in a hospital (or surgery center) setting for a minimum of 3 years. • Proficiency in Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation. • Demonstrable experience with Variance Analysis. • Comprehensive understanding and application of GAAP Accounting. • Ability to effectively manage Month End Close procedures. • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and analysis. • Experience in Financial Statement Preparation. • Ability to Prepare Budgets and forecast financial outcomes. • Proficiency in making Journal Entries and maintaining accounting records.
