JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position Summary:
The Accounting Manager oversees the day-to-day AP, AR, and Franchise Accounting operations supporting 1-800 Radiator & A/C. This manager will establish and communicate expectations, delegate assignments, and set deadlines to the AR and AP Team. The right candidate will be process and results oriented, motivated to keep projects moving ahead by removing obstacles and exploring alternatives. Review and approve the day-to-day customer and franchisee activities - onboarding and maintaining customer and franchisee files, banking related activities (cash application, remote deposits, etc.).
Responsibilities
Trains staff on processes, procedures, and controls for maintenance, onboarding, fleet customers and contact data ensuring the customer master remains clean, structured, and consistent.Resolve escalated issues. Research the issue and ask probing questions determining the root cause. Determine viable solutions and recommended action; discuss with interested parties and obtain buy-in for solution. Obtain approvals as needed; implement approved solution.Maintain current audit process to identify erroneous, incorrect, fraudulent, duplicate, or inactive customers and franchisees.Ability to create clear reports and data visualizations to assist in decision-making and problem analysis.Maintains processes and procedures. Identifies and implements innovative solutions improving efficiencies. Supports change initiatives, maintaining effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work responsibilities or environment; adjusts effectively to work within new work structures, processes, requirements or cultures.Maintain/Develop a strong, trusting, and reliable team. Understand team members career aspirations and provide assignments to develop skills and/or close gaps. Constructively address issues and provide tangible and appropriate feedback. BS degree, or equivalent, preferably in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Accounting. General Ledger experience / CPA highly preferredDirect experience with Oracle Fusion preferred5+ years of Accounting experienceManagement experience leading a team#LI-GL1
