Position: Accounting Manager

Overview:

As an Accounting Manager, you will oversee the accounting team's performance in the monthly and annual close processes, ensuring timely reporting and driving process enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a business partner to operational leadership, helping the team establish and maintain a cross-functional accounting and closing process that aligns with organizational goals.Manage various accounting functions, including ledger maintenance, system integrations, fixed assets, lease accounting, and corporate SG&A, along with related analysis and reporting.Supervise day-to-day operations of the accounting team, ensuring efficiency in all aspects of the month-end close process.Review, analyze, and optimize account reconciliations.Support the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) teams in evaluating operational and financial performance, including budgeting and forecasting as needed.Conduct ad-hoc analysis on complex balance sheet and income statement accounts.Perform technical accounting research, including contract reviews for accounting implications, and document findings and recommendations.Maintain a robust system of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial statement presentation; recommend improvements to processes.Address inquiries from Operations and Senior Management regarding financial results and special reporting requirements.Assist with preparation of PBC (Prepared By Client) packages during financial and operational audits.Ensure compliance with accounting principles (U.S. GAAP) and relevant industry regulations through special projects.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.Minimum of five years of relevant accounting experience, including 1-3 years of supervisory experience; multi-location or retail experience preferred. A combination of public and industry experience is highly desirable.High ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality.CPA designation is highly preferred.Proficient in U.S. GAAP and current accounting practices.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, achieving goals as part of a team.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (including functions such as lookups, pivots, and formula statements) and other accounting software.Experience with Oracle ERP is preferred. 1396243_1733237020 To Apply for this Job Click Here
