Wehave partnered with our client on their search for an Accounting Manager to oversee their accounting operations within the fast-paced technology industry. This role will lead a team of six accounting professionals, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and the smooth execution of accounting processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of six accounting professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and provide constructive feedback.Delegate responsibilities effectively to ensure team efficiency and productivity.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.Analyze financial results to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.Collaborate with leadership to provide insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.

Accounting Operations

Manage the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with deadlines.Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS (if applicable), and internal company policies.

Compliance & Audit

Maintain compliance with tax regulations, including sales tax, VAT, and corporate tax filings.Coordinate with external auditors during financial and operational audits, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.

Process Improvement & Technology Integration

Evaluate and enhance accounting processes and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.Lead initiatives to automate and streamline workflows, leveraging technology to optimize performance.Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in accounting and financial management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA designation preferred.7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting best practices.Experience in the technology industry is highly desirable.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills
