Accounting Manager

**Description**
We are looking for a Corporate Accounting Manager to join our Wild Fork team!
This is an in-office role, Monday – Friday, in Miami, FL.
**Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:**
+ Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP or IFRS
+ Collaborate with department heads to align accounting practices with corporate goals and objectives.
+ Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for accounting operations
+ Establish and maintain robust internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting and safeguard company assets.
+ Review journal entries
+ Sign off on bank account reconciliations
+ Review of sales and intercompany reconciliations
+ Investigate unusual transactions and balances in the GL and subledger reports
+ Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
+ Coordinate training programs to keep the team updated on accounting regulations and best practices.
+ Utilize technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness in financial reporting and analysis
+ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
+ Assist with external audits and respond to audit findings promptly
+ Monitor compliance with company policy and procedures
+ Periodically evaluate performance of all employees in compliance with company policy (at least annually)
+ Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA certification or MBA preferred
+ 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience with at least 3 years in a management role
+ Strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS and experience with financial statement preparation and consolidation.
+ Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
+ Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; SAP preferred
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Excellent attention to detail – demonstrated ability to review detailed financial statements with a high level of accuracy
+ Ability to juggle competing projects and achieve accurate results, excellent time management skills, and flexibility to meet changing priorities
