We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Statutory Audit Manager to oversee statutory audits in Mexico, Argentina, Peru, Chile, Brazil, and Puerto Rico. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, manage the audit process, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage statutory audits across six regions: Mexico, Argentina, Peru, Chile, Brazil, and Puerto Rico.Ensure compliance with local financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and corporate policies.Collaborate with internal finance teams and external auditors to prepare audit schedules, documentation, and reports.Review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.Identify and mitigate risks associated with financial reporting and statutory compliance.Provide guidance and support to local finance teams on audit-related matters and regulatory changes.Monitor audit progress, resolve issues, and ensure timely completion of audit processes.Maintain effective communication with external auditors, regulatory authorities, and senior management.Develop and implement audit strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of audit processes.Stay current with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements in the specified regions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.Minimum of 7 years of experience in auditing, with a focus on statutory audits.In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations in Mexico, Argentina, Peru, Chile, Brazil, and Puerto Rico.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple audits simultaneously.Proficiency in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.Willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Skills:

Experience working in a multinational corporation or Big Four accounting firm.Familiarity with IFRS and local GAAP in the specified regions.Strong project management skills.Ability to adapt to changing regulatory environments.
