Your performance areas:

The Account Manager – Screening Solutions will promote and sell the Company's screening and mining product portfolio for maximum revenue, profitability, and market share. Serve as the technical sales and market development expert responsible for increasing sales of screen media and mining equipment in the assigned market.

Key responsibilities include:

Establish a customer base of new and repeat business through application of knowledge of vibrating screen and related equipment, screening processes, and best practices.Apply technical background to determine and recommend suitable mining applications to meet customers’ needs.Offer screen media and screen operational solutions to resolve customer issues and to assist them with increasing production and through-put and optimize the screening process to improve operational costs.Attend Sandvik’s product launches, introductions, and developments as a member of the global screen media product innovation team.Participate in knowledge up-skilling events while focusing on process improvement and optimization success, strategic initiatives, and Q&A responses.Oversee improvement of life expectancy of vibrating equipment and screen media including improving products to reduce downtime, breakdowns, and maintenance intervals.Communicate use, operation, maintenance, and application of specialized screening and mining products to current and potential customers.Perform in-depth opportunity analysis by customer and site in order to assess customers' total potential with Sandvik products and develop business sales plans customized to the client's business and application.Provide technical information to explain and demonstrate Sandvik's industrial screen media equipment products and services and available customizations and applications.Research current competitive activity in the mining sector relative to new products and marketing strategies.Report findings along with recommendations for new products, product changes, and/or new market approaches.Establish bid priorities and recommend target pricing and commercial terms as required to secure bookings.Assist in the preparation of budget and forecast.Compile pricing strategy to ensure profitability and competitiveness in the market.Responsible for customer aftermarket contracts.Provide technical guidance and collaborate with marketing team to prepare marketing material and develop product, company, and training presentations for existing and prospective clients.

Your profile:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mining Engineering and five (5) years of experience as Product Line Manager, Account Manager, Regional Manager, or Sales Director.The five (5) years of experience must have included technical sales and marketing of vibrating and screening equipment for the mining and construction industry and related technical product support and troubleshooting.Up to 50% domestic travel and 25% international travel required. May telecommute from home within the continental U.S.
