Description **Seeking an Accounting Mgr. for a well-established Non-Profit (Hybrid Work schedule)** Please email resume to Eric Herndon for consideration We are in search of a proficient Accounting Manager/Supervisor to strengthen our team. The role entails processing customer applications, maintaining customer records with precision, and addressing customer inquiries in a timely manner. The position also involves the monitoring of customer accounts and taking necessary actions. This opportunity is based in Los Angeles, California Responsibilities: • Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications. • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger in line with GAAP and FASB provisions. • Supervise and review the work of the Accounting Payable Manager and Pledge Manager. • Ensure compliance and proper application of accounting policies and procedures. • Implement and manage accounting software systems. • Oversee and manage financial services and enterprise resource planning. • Handle both accounts payable and accounts receivable. • Conduct auditing and manage billing functions. • Utilize Blackbaud and Month End Close procedures. • MIP accounting experience highly preferred. Requirements • Proven experience of 7+ years in a similar role as an Accounting Manager/Supervisor. • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory. • Knowledge and practical use of ADP - Financial Services is required. • Familiarity with Concur for expense management is a necessity. • Expertise in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is desirable. • Ability to manage and oversee various Accounting Functions. • Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). • Proficient in conducting Auditing processes and procedures. • Competence in handling Billing Functions effectively. • Knowledge of Blackbaud software is a plus. • Proven track record in successful Month End Close processes.
