The Accounting Manager is responsible for administering, managing, and overseeing daily activities of the accounting functions at the facility, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining robust internal controls. This role involves preparing financial statements, working closely with various departments to support the venue’s financial goals, and processing the venues payroll.
ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists in the development and implementation of facility goals and priorities relating to financial management, budget, accounting, purchasing, and/or payroll in compliance with State and Federal law, and ASM Global policies and procedures.Oversee staff & all functions of A/R & A/P (Ensure all aspects of A/R and A/P are completed on a timely basis and assist with any problems that arise)Prepares and performs or assists with event settlements.Prepares and performs bank reconciliations.Assists with preparation of financial statements for the Client and ASM Global Corporate, and other financial reports, including monthly statements, Annual Budget, and Annual Report.Input Manual and Recurring Journal EntriesProcess payroll for the venue.Review of Income Statement (Verifies and checks the accuracy of general ledger coding).Assist auditors with year-end audit.Established system controls for new financial systems and develops procedures to improve existing systems.Other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends & ASM policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
B. S. in Accounting or Finance from a four-year college or university.At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in public accounting and/or financial management at a supervisory level or as department head.SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Extensive knowledge of general and cost accounting.Excellent math skills; high aptitude for figures.Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and organizational abilityThe ability to work with and maintain highly confidential information is required.Effective supervisory skills.Extensive knowledge of accounting software, spreadsheets, and word processing software.Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.Ability to work under minimal supervision.COMPUTER SKILLS
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).Hands-on experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms).Familiarity with commercial accounting software and financial tools.COMPENSATION
