Description We are seeking a skilled Accounting Manager to join our team in the building construction sales industry in Santa Fe Springs, California. This role is a long term contract employment opportunity and involves managing accounting functions, processing financial data, and maintaining communication within various levels of the organization.
Responsibilities
• Supervise the completion of the month-end close process.
• Generate accurate commission and sales reports.
• Use accounting software like QuickBooks to manage and display accounting data.
• Apply intermediate spreadsheet skills for data analysis and management.
• Show initiative and high levels of organization in managing business processes.
• Keep effective communication with different levels within the organization.
• Utilize your understanding of Macros in spreadsheet software for efficient data handling.
• Oversee and manage customer accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary. Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in a managerial position
• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency
• Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with various Accounting Functions
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Experience in overseeing Month End Close procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Expertise in handling Commissions, with a strong understanding of related calculations and regulations
• Strong financial reporting skills, with the ability to present complex financial data in a clear and concise manner
