About the team and the role:

The Global Transformation Center (“GTC”) team is part of the COA organization that is responsible for bringing people, technology and ideas together to drive value creation forward! We craft and enable technology solutions to realize automation roadmap, establish and maintain positive relationship with technology specialists and global process owners, ensure strong project execution and finally support partner teams on automation ideation, technology design or implementation inquiries and automation and business findings of the future.

The successful candidate will offer a collaborative working style, outstanding interpersonal skills & accounting and process knowledge in a fast-paced and team-oriented organization. The model candidate will demonstrate a sense of problem awareness, skills for critical thinking, and the ability to improve accounting processes with a vision for future needs!

What you will accomplish:

Be a trusted and relevant Controlling partner across multiple functional groupsConduct ongoing reviews of accounting processes, internal controls, and overall efficiency to drive process improvements through automation, streamlining and standard processesSAP Transformation projectLeading the implementation of Controlling solutions to the SAP S/4 HANA system architectureLeading the seamless integration of Controlling related boundary applications to SAP S/4HANA systemAttend instructor-led SAP S/4 HANA training session to become the go to Controlling Superuser and to support trainings to end usersIdentify and sign off test scenarios across multiple Controlling processes. Drafting and reviewing test scripts through various testing phases.Ensure a flawless transition to the operation phase of the new SAP S/4 HANA systemDevelop and maintain relationships with partners, including other SAP workstream team leads, vendor partners, and key decision-makers across the organization

What you will bring:

At least 5 years of experience in Accounting; Experience in public accounting and at a large growth company is a plusBachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance; Master’s degree is a plusCPA or equivalent preferred Solid grasp of US GAAP, SOX, and standard accounting processes and controls Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work optimally with collaborators at all levels of the organization, articulate issues in a clear and concise manner, and present findings/recommendations optimally. Analytical and problem-solving skills with experience applying these skills to resolve accounting process and system issues. Self-starter, with the ability to work independently and as part of a global team across global geographies.Comfort with initiating and responding to change; demonstrated ability to leverage systems to improve accounting processes and controls. Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements, including the ability to multi-task and balance competing priorities and deadlines.Intellectual curiosity, passion for problem-solving, strong critical thinking and comfort with ambiguityExperience with Excel and PowerPoint Experience with SAP, experience with SAP S/4Hana is a plus May be required to travel to multiple sites during the project lifecycle.
