Accounting Manager Consultant
As an Accounting Manager Consultant, you will provide support around general accounting for a global tech client in the Bay Area. In this role, you will provide operational support to close the gaps within the team as they are working on company-wide transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have great stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills, the ability to navigate organizationally and be a self-starter, looking to jump in and add value to ease pressure on the existing team. + Perform company accounting operations and lead month-endclose process, including maintaining the general ledger and sub-ledgers,reviewing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations as well as analyzeaccount variances + Manage bookkeeping and financial systems. Perform day-to-daymanagement of financial accounts and apply accounting principles to analyzefinancial information + Ensure financial transactions are performed in compliancewith company policies and in accordance with US GAAP + Perform accounting functions such as revenue and assetaccounting, payroll and cost analysis. + Prepare accurate and timely financial management reports andstatements. + Perform reconciliation activities and ensure accuratereporting and analysis of revenues and expenses. + Provide continuous management and support of budget andforecast activities. + Analyze financial information to prepare weekly, monthly andannual financial reports; review policies and procedures to ensure SOXcompliance. + Develop solutions to resolve accounting discrepancies andother financial problems/issues. + Address and resolve queries in a timely and accurate manner. Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements. + 7+ years of experience in operational accounting + Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance, + CPA preferred + Global company experience a must.
