Description We are in the market for a PART-TIME Accounting Manager/Supervisor to be a part of our team. The role is based in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing various accounting functions, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and handling payroll duties. Responsibilities: • Maintain precise records of customer credit • Manage and maintain financial records using accounting software • Monitor customer accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary • Process all invoices and checks, keeping a record of bills and receipts for all transactions • Reconcile monthly bank statements and work with financial staff to finalize month-end and annual reports • Prepare and print required monthly and quarterly reports for restricted grants • Serve as HR manager, maintaining employee personnel files, records of paid time off. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience within the Accounting field. • Proficiency in handling full scope Accounting Functions. • Demonstrated experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). • Experience in overseeing Billing Functions within an organization. • Proficient knowledge of General Accounting practices and principles. • Familiarity with handling and maintaining the General Ledger. • Experience in preparing and reviewing Journal Entries. • Experience in managing Payroll Functions, ensuring accuracy and timely execution. • Ability to handle Human Resources (HR) Administration tasks, demonstrating a good understanding of HR policies and procedures.
