Description We are in search of an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to be a part of our team based in Louisville, Kentucky. The role mainly involves the management of accounting operations, including the supervision of a team of staff and senior accountants. The position also involves maintaining relationships with auditors and ensuring the integrity of accounting processes. Responsibilities: • Oversee the efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications • Lead and direct the work of a team of staff and senior accountants • Maintain and improve internal accounting processes in line with the organization's objectives • Regularly review and approve reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements • Ensure all general ledger accounts reconcile with subsidiary records monthly • Liaise with internal and external auditors to maintain relationships and fulfill audit requirements • Report to executive management on budget variances and their causes • Utilize Accounting Software Systems, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, and BlackLine to manage accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Oversee maintenance of systems and controls that verify the integrity of systems, processes, and data • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required • Must be familiar with BlackLine • Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is crucial • Demonstrated ability to manage Accounting Functions • Extensive experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Prior experience in Auditing is highly desirable • Competence in managing Billing Functions • Proficiency in performing Month End Close tasks • Experience in handling Journal Entries is necessary Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
