This is an exciting opportunity to work in the expanding Global Business Services Organisation, in a company considered a global leader in its field. The successful candidate will join the Record to Report (RtR) Accounting Operations Team. They will be deadline driven, with an excellent ability to learn and grow. The candidate must be able to work at pace in a corporate, multi-task environment. Computer literacy and attention to detail are essential. Candidates must demonstrate a thorough approach to completing processes, with the ability to follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy in data.
Responsibilities:
Prepare accounting journal entries for monthly close transactional activities, including but not limited to: payroll, operating leases, petty cash, travel & expense, standardized journal entries.Perform balance sheet account reconciliations for low risk general ledger and sub-ledger accounts.Operate ERP systems to complete automated procedures, including Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) load procedures.Maintain the company’s Costar system to record operating leasesPerform control procedures to ensure compliance SOXSupport requests from external and internal auditors as well as various groups company-wideParticipate in process improvement initiativesComplete ad-hoc projects as requestedMinimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years experience in transactional roles, OR minimum 1 year experience in equivalent RtR role in Shared Service EnvironmentAccuracy is required in performing all aspects of the rolePrevious experience in a large scale organisation would be beneficialAbility to work well under time constraintsComputer literacy, incl. MS ExcelProficient in English
