The Accounting Operations Team Leader position at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. offers an exceptional opportunity to work in the expanding Thermo Fisher Scientific Shared Services. In this role, you will lead a team of Accounting Operations specialists, analysts, and assistants, ensuring flawless monthly US GAAP Intercompany reporting. You will be responsible for driving a performance and customer-first culture, delivering operational excellence, and successfully implementing process improvement initiatives. As a proven leader, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the company's ambitious goals.

Responsibilities:

Supervise, coach, and develop a team of Accounting Operations Specialists, Analysts, and AssistantsEnsure accurate and timely completion of operational finance activitiesEnsure adherence to financial regulations and implement SOX control measuresProvide insights on business performance through metricsDrive operational excellence through strong organizational skills and effective resource managementLead process improvement initiatives and participate in ad-hoc projects

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience in a RtR Operational Accounting Specialist role, or equivalent3 years of leadership experienceDeep operational accounting process knowledge and a high level of proactivity to drive continuous improvementExcellent organizational skills and ability to work well under time constraintsExperience handling intercompany process, preferred but not requireComputer literacy, including proficiency in MS ExcelFluent in English
