Your Title: Accounting Professional
Job Location: Onsite (hybrid after 3 months)-Christchurch, New Zealand

What You Will Do
Join our dynamic accounting team and play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency in this local and US group accounting role! You will be involved in monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, entity and group accounting entries, lead on accounting topics, as well as group wide and auditor liaison. . With a keen eye for process improvement, you'll identify and implement enhancements to streamline financial operations. Additionally, you’ll research and advise on technical accounting matters, lead sections of annual financial audits, and provide guidance and training to team members. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, global organization while collaborating with senior leadership in APAC.
Proficient in advanced Excel and Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting
Highly efficient in managing tasks to meet tight deadlines effectively
Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for collaboration and reporting
Skilled in analyzing data and presenting clear, actionable insights and recommendations
Proactive in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and process optimization
Team player with a desire to help others and contribute to the team and Trimble’s overall success
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
5+ years of accounting experience
Qualified CA
Experience in commercial accounting is an asset
Experience with Oracle ERP system is an asset
Knowledge of U.S. GAAP is an asset.
