Your role and responsibilities

Contributing to the development, implementation, and improvement of accounting policies within your area of expertise, Executing established accounting policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with ABB group policies and local instructions, Performing quality checks on financial reporting data submitted by the units, including analytical review of major fluctuations, and liaising with internal and external auditors on accounting and reporting issues, Conducting investigations and reconciliation of accounting transaction, as necessary, and facilitating the resolution of accounting and reporting issues, Monthly Trial Balance reviews, VAT Return File Documentation and Submission, Supporting tax and accounting leaders on daily operations, Monthly Tax Declaration calculation support, Foreign currency revaluation controls, Inventory – Stock accounting process and reconciliation ownership, Collecting all hard copy documents related with vat exempt sales from business and export list from customs agency, export listed sales and related documentation from business, Support audit process.

Qualifications for the role

5-9 years of experience in Accounting (R2R), GL, and SAP, preferably in shared services or the manufacturing sector, with strong knowledge of Turkish GAAP, tax regulations, and VAT return processes,Expertise in Fixed Asset accounting, end-to-end process ownership, and deep-dive analysis in SAP and Excel to resolve complex transactions,Advanced proficiency in SAP, CFIN, and MS Office (especially Excel), with adaptability to rapid organizational and technological changes,CPA internship and license preferred, along with a Bachelor’s or MBA in Accounting, Finance, or Tax,Attention to detail, ability to work independently in a matrix organization, and a result-oriented mindset,Strong communication skills in Turkish and English.
