The salary range for this role is:
$27.04 - $44.60Responsibilities:
Under the direct Supervision of the Supervisor Accounting, the Accounting Senior Analyst position is responsible for managing and maintaining accounting processes in accordance with established corporate accounting procedures and policies, including invoices, Bill of Material (BOM), indirect labeling operations, finished goods inventory reconciliations, CHEP pallet reconciliations and proper preparation of reports. This position is also responsible for maintaining standard cost systems for manufacturing operation, provides general ledger analysis, operations/financial analysis, Capital and Fixed Asset Management and 3rd Party location reconciliations. This position also serves as the primary verification sources for Del Monte controls required to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).
Reviews Capital Asset Requests (CAR) and tracks all capital projects through closure.Manages and reconciles Fixed Assets.Manages and reconciles Leased Assets.Coordinates the list of Capital Asset requests through the budget process.Prepares monthly and fiscal year-end closing in accordance with corporate accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate plant and regional financial records. Includes preparation of journal vouchers, review of General Ledger and Balance Sheets accounts.Analyzes month end results and reports results to facility and upper management.Prepares and processes weekly, monthly standard cost information for inclusion in the general ledger system.Oversees the reconciliation of CHEP pallet inventories.Prepares and leads calls for weekly and monthly reports, such as DC Metrics, Metrics Trends, KPI’s, Produce Review, etc.Performs monthly balance sheet reconciliation.Assists with cycle count/physical inventories.Investigates cycle count variances and resolves issues.Reviews standard cost and actual costs for inaccuracies.Updates standard cost in Bills of Material.Evaluates obsolete inventory for determining status (sell, dispose, transfer).Assists in preparation of Annual Operating Plan for Distribution Centers including 3PL’s.Reconciles monthly lease agreements.Ensures proper processes and procedures are followed to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).Assists with internal audit process.Other duties as assigned.Del Monte Foods Key Behaviors:

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.At least 3-5 years of related experience.Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook.Knowledge of SAP strongly preferred.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong analytical thinking skills.Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.Knowledge of Finance and Standard Cost.Strong work ethic with proven ability to work with deadlines and commitment including occasional weekends.WE OFFER:
