A global leader in integrated transport, logistics and Warehousing services provider is currently expanding and looking for highly qualified candidates for the Accounting Specialist (Assistant Manager) position based in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities: Support finance operations by managing treasury and accounts payable (AP) functions, including cash flow forecasting, payment processing, and financial reporting. Oversee vendor AP balances by region, ensuring timely settlements and accurate financial tracking. Collaborate with regional and offshore teams to resolve outstanding financial issues and aged transactions. Review and approve payment proposals, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures. Process brokerage and VID commission payments in line with financial controls. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial records, supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles. Monitor and track agent settlements, ensuring prompt freight collections, disbursements in ASA/GAS, and addressing delays or discrepancies. Review and reconcile AR agent statements, identifying and resolving aged transactions. Perform monthly financial close activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting deadlines. Conduct financial analysis on outstanding AR and contribute to the enhancement of finance operations and reporting processes. Respond to financial queries from regional, country, and offshore offices, providing guidance and resolution support. Lead or participate in ad-hoc finance projects, including process improvements, system enhancements, and automation initiatives.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. 4–5 years of experience in accounting operations and financial reporting. Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and internationally.
