Accounting Specialist City Washington State/Province West Virginia Responsibilities: Provide Financial support to Filaments WW Operations and Americas Commercial TeamsSupport Month End Closing activitiesSupport Forecasting and PlanningPerform and coordinate Internal Controls activitiesSite partner billing and analysis supportTax payment and filingsParticipate on cross-functional process improvement teams to promote operational efficiencies and support leadership on strategic decisionsAssist in identifying process improvements for overall business

 

Qualifications:

Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field

 

Experience and basic required skills

3-5 years working experience in Finance, Accounting, Business Finance or similar experienceQuantitative and analytical skills to provide recommendations to the businessDemonstrated oral and written communication skills and ability to work cross functionallyAbility to maintain and develop collaborative relationships with stakeholders

Preferred skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, esp. ExcelPreferred SAP/IFS knowledgesEfficient written and verbal communication and presentation skillsAbility to handle several tasks simultaneously and to work critical timelinesDelivers positive results through realistic planning to accomplish goalsAbility to assess and identify issues and risks across the process to translate business needs to technical solutions
