The Accounting Specialist I for a department will provide accounting support to a variety of major financial accounting areas, including the accounts payable, general ledger accounting, and account receivables.
\nJob Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:

\n\nManage various forms of accounting data, such as that related to accounts payable and \n\naccounts receivable.
\n\nOther duties as assigned. \n\n Requirements\nAnalytical skills to evaluate, prioritize, and categorize data in various forms and formats. \nPerform calculations and analysis used in basic accounting. \nBasic knowledge in proper accounting principles, practices, and procedures. \nKnowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level.· Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level. \nProfessional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.). \nSelf-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player. \nTime management and time critical prioritization skills. \n\n\n
Education and Experience
· High School Diploma or GED Required
