A day in the life.
As an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate accounting functions. You will collaborate with team members and carriers to process premium payments and provide excellent client service while resolving billing discrepancies. You will assist in implementing new accounting procedures and help minimize financial risks, contribute to the overall success of the organization.

We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

Proficient in the reconciliation of monthly statements by agency, carrier, customer, and policy status

Skilled in identifying discrepancies in the Agency Management System and collaborating with service teams for corrections

Strong ability to verify proper documentation from carriers/vendors before issuing payments and ensuring payments are made only when client funds are secured or guaranteed by the producer

Expertise in fostering collaboration and effective communication with team members and stakeholders
 

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

2+ years of experience in accounting

AS/BA in Accounting or closely related field

Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills

The applicable base salary range for this role is $41,040.00 to $71,820.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
