System One has partnered with a dynamic and growing organization to assist them in their search for an Accounting Assistant with a strong focus on invoicing. This role is essential to ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of billing processes, and we’re looking for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities: Prepare, issue, and process invoices for clients or vendors accurately and on time. Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve client/vendor inquiries regarding invoices. Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments. Assist with data entry and maintenance of accounting records Collaborate with the finance team to support month-end and year-end closing activities. Maintain organized records of transactions and supporting documentation. Adhere to company policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred). Experience: At least [1-3] years of experience in accounting or invoicing roles. Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel). Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Effective communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external clients/vendors.
