Description We are in the search for an Accounting Specialist for a Racine, WI area organization. As an Accounting Specialist, your role will encompass a multitude of functions within the accounting sector. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our customer accounts, as well as handling account reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Responsibilities: • Handle full cycle accounts payable operations • Manage accounts receivable and billing processes • Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accurate record keeping • Respond to and resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts • Perform journal entries as part of the accounting procedures • Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks • Manage collections process and follow up on overdue accounts • Undertake additional duties as assigned to support the accounting team Requirements • Must possess strong knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) procedures. • Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) management is necessary. • Demonstrated expertise in Billing processes is essential. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
