Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist at our Overland Park, Kansas location. The individual will play a crucial role in our accounting department, handling a variety of tasks including invoice entry, account reconciliation, and general ledger adjustments. Responsibilities: • Accurately process customer credit applications to ensure efficiency. • Utilize accounting software systems to manage and organize financial data. • Perform account reconciliations and make necessary adjustments to maintain accurate records. • Enter invoices for accounts payable in accordance with written procedures. • Conduct year-end reconciliations using excel spreadsheets. • Handle general ledger adjustments to ensure financial accuracy. • Maintain and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. • Utilize accounting functions to ensure all financial data is correct and up to date. • Ensure all necessary tasks are performed according to written procedures. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required. • Must have a firm understanding of all Accounting Functions. • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is essential. • Ability to handle Accounts Receivable (AR) efficiently. • Competence in Account Reconciliation is necessary.
