Job Title: Accounting Specialist

ResponsibilitiesProcess vendor invoices that require purchase orders, including components, repairs and maintenance, supplies, services, and capital project invoices.Enter and attach information and documentation for payment into JDE and Coupa.Process vendor freight invoices in Legacy and enter documentation for payment into JDE and Coupa.Prepare and audit weekly payroll information in Kronos and ensure the weekly payroll is pushed to HQ payroll.Conduct weekly audit and reporting of temporary staff to the temp agency.Work with the plant finance team during the month-end close process, analyze general ledger accounts, and prepare month-end accruals.Collaborate with the Accounting Supervisor to ensure all entries are posted and prepare the monthly journal accrual for master freight accounts.Answer vendor inquiries regarding payments and provide follow-up to any questions.Essential SkillsProficiency in invoice processing and accounts payable.Experience with invoicing and three-way matching.Strong skills in Microsoft Office.2-5 years of accounts payable experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma.Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.Familiarity with JDE and Coupa is a plus.Work Environment

The position is based at the headquarters for a manufacturing site. The role involves working with various financial software and requires regular interaction with the plant finance team and temporary staff agency.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
