Summary

As an Entry-Level Accounting Specialist, you will support the month-end closing processes for six A2R processes (Inventory, Manufacturing, AL/Expenses, VAT Compliance, Revenue, and Reporting) in the EMEA market. This role is part of the EMEA A2R (Account to Report) team within the Baxter Business Services team.

What will you be doing?

Assisting the accounting team in performing month-end closing activities.

Ensuring adherence to company policies, internal and external audit requirements, and local rules and regulations.

Collaborating with finance and non-finance teams, as well as external providers, in the execution of end-to-end finance processes.

Participating in the resolution of complex accounting and tax issues.

Taking part in local, regional, and global projects, advocating for the finance function.

Maintaining a focus on continuous process improvement.

Who are we looking for?

Proved first experience in accounting, tax advisory, external and internal audits, or financial statements.

Knowledge of local GAAP for the countries in scope, and tax matters expertise will be a huge asset.

Strong communication skills, diplomatic, flexible, and a "can-do" attitude.

Fluent English speaker with advanced reporting tools skills including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint (JDE, Blackline and W-Desk would be an advantage).

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance/Accounting is preferred, along with being part qualified/qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
