Position Summary

The accounting team is part of the financial management group of Samsung Semiconductor Europe GmbH. In this position, you will play an important role in day-to-day accounting operations. You will be responsible for managing travel & expense settlements in Samsung Semiconductor Europe, as well as supporting the accounting team with AP invoice booking and payment processing. You will liaise with our vendors to ensure a smooth payment process and maintain and great vendor relationship.

Role and Responsibilities

Travel & Expense management

Responsible for Travel & Expense (T&E) claim management in Samsung Semiconductor EuropeReview expense claims and supporting documents submitted by employees to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulationsServe as a point of contact for employees regarding expense claims, reimbursement policies, claim status and other queriesProvide onboarding and T&E training to new employees on a regular basis

Accounts payable accounting

Assist in invoice booking and processing in an accurate and timely mannerAssist in preparation of weekly payment runsAlign with the Samsung HQ, our Shared Service Centre and other colleagues on the implementation and change of accounting processes and policies

Skills and Qualifications

University degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting, finance, tax or an apprenticeship training as an accountantProven experience in a multinational corporation and experience with German GAAPExcellent numerical and analytical skills with high level of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to organize, prioritize and multi-task under minimum supervisionProactive team player with ability to work in a multi-cultural environmentFluent in English and German to collaborate effectively with your team members and act as a trusted advisor for our managers and employeesVery good command of SAP and MS Office applications
