We are currently looking for an Accounting Specialist – General Ledger (m/f/d) for our Finance Team, based in our main office in Hamburg.
Your tasks
Responsibility for the preparation and booking of business transactions (including IFRS15/IFRS16) Ensuring and complying with the reconciliation between IFRS/IAS and HGB Support in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/IAS and HGB Preparation on monthly tax calculations Further development and implementation of the Internal Control Framework / L262 Contact person for audit process Responsibility for the implementation of projects as part of continuous improvement processes Accounting support for M&A activitiesYour profile:
You have successfully completed university studies with focus on accounting or a commercial apprenticeship, ideally as an accountant (m/f/d), balance sheet accountant (m/f/d), tax clerk (m/f/d) You have a professional experience in a corporate or with an audit/tax consultancy firm You have a good knowledge of international (IFRS) and German (HGB) accounting User knowledge of common accounting software; Oracle knowledge is a plus Analytical way of thinking, high level of initiative, willingness to take responsibility You are fluent in English and have at least a good command of GermanWhat we offer
