Reports to: Assistant Manager System Development and Accounting Control
The Accounting Supervisor sits within our Passenger Revenue Accounting team which is part of our Customer Travel team in our Finance Department. You will be responsible for acting as a system administrator to handle and administrate system application and carry out stock control in Passenger Revenue Accounting System. You will be also responsible for providing guidance and support in daily Revenue Accounting system operations, performing accounts reconciliation and assisting to prepare all relevant interim & yearly schedules and reports accurately and timely.
Key ResponsibilitiesHandle and control security access right of Passenger Revenue Accounting SystemPrepare and distribute the User Health Check List to the relevant section's manager for review and approval, and keep the summary with supporting document for auditingPrepare all relevant supporting documents and reports to auditors during the auditing periodProvide guidance and support to new users in daily Revenue Accounting system operationsMonitor rules update in Passenger Revenue Accounting system to ensure compliance with internal control procedurePerform feasibility study in system enhancementsCreate ticket stock ownership for BU stock distribution and issuanceMonthly Balance Sheet Accounts Reconciliation and input interline billing invoices in SAPAssist Revenue Accounting System month-end closure and reconciliation and prepare all relevant interim & yearly schedules and reports accurately and timelyPrepare monthly Revenue Reports and distribute to requestorsRequirements
HKDSE standard with a pass in EnglishHigher Diploma or above in Accounting, Finance or related disciplineMinimum 5 years relevant experience of which 3 year is in supervisory roleWell organized with strong analytical mindStrong skills in MS Office applications, especially in ExcelExperience in using SAP advantageousGood command of written and spoken English and CantoneseAble to work under pressure and being flexible when necessary to meet deadlinesWilling to challenge the status quo and improve work processesPersonal & Application Information
