Role Summary:

As a GL Accounting Supervisor, you will work with a team of accountants in assigned US GAAP accounting, including lease accounting, financial statement reporting and analysis, consolidation, account reconciliations, journal entries, and other ad-hoc assignments. You assist with leading the team in month-end closings, reconciliations, and audit processes.

Role Responsibilities:

Supervise team of accountants in centralized lease accounting function and joint venture accounting.Perform day-to-day accounting, month end closing processes, reporting and account reconciliations under US-GAAP.Support site accounting teams in reporting/loading financial and non-financial information, including updating GL-to-Consolidation Tool.Produce divisional analytics.Support internal and external audits.Assist with balancing team workload and ensuring month-end deadlines and other key deliverables are met for the team.Help develop an environment and culture that supports the attraction and retention of quality talent.Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal controls.Build a culture of operational excellence and continuous process improvement.Work cross functionally to ensure end-to-end processes work within the assigned region or sites.Maintain a good relationship with site leadership to ensure a healthy service level.Other duties as assigned

Required Experience/Skills:

BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 5-7 years relevant experienceUS GAAP experienceASC 842 experienceFinancial statement analysis experienceDemonstrated ability to motivate and develop people.Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.Strong bias for action and ability to proactively recognize and resolve issues.Strong Excel and Microsoft Access skills.

Preferred Skills/Experience

Licensed CPA.IFRS knowledge preferredSAP GL and SAP BPC preferred
