Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the education industry in Dallas, Texas. The role is for an Accounting Supervisor who will manage and oversee the daily operations of accounting clerks, ensuring accuracy and procedural compliance. Responsibilities: • Oversee the workloads and daily operations of accounting clerks, ensuring accuracies and procedural compliance. • Review credit card charge coding on a weekly basis. • Synchronize Point of Sale (POS) systems to financial systems weekly. • Review vendor invoices for proper approval and coding weekly. • Assemble related party settlements and supporting reconciliations monthly. • Reconcile bank statements to book balances monthly. • Review credit card reconciliations monthly. • Load student transactions from Freedom into QuickBooks monthly. • Prepare and submit sales tax returns monthly. • Prepare adjusting entries for month-end. • Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts. • Reconcile student ledgers between Financial Aid and Accounting systems. • Review Profit & Loss reports for expense accrual entries. • Coordinate with Accounting Manager for special projects as needed. • Coordinate annual audits and act as liaison with auditors when required. • Report 1099's annually. Requirements • Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is a must • Familiarity with BlackLine software • Proficient in using Concur software • Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required • Ability to manage various Accounting Functions • Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) • Expertise in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) • Strong skills in Auditing procedures • Proficiency in managing Billing Functions Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
