As part of the Warsaw Accounting Operations hub, this role will supervise a team within the Order to Cash (O2C) function. The function will provide accounting services to more than 30 countries within the EMEA region, across all MMC operating companies.

In this role you will be responsible for:
Oversseing transition of fiduciary activities from local team to Warsaw
Supervision of the team (10-15 people) of fiduciary accountants
Operational activities of the AR function
The day to day accounting processes and banking systems, ensuring accurate processing, recording, and reporting of financial information
Reviewing and improving processes to achieve and maintain global standardization
Supporting the robust control environment and ensuring compliance with all relevant standards
Ensuring that developed KPIs and SLAs are met
Assisting with auditors and audit requirements and SOX testing
What you need to have:
University degree in the field of finance, accounting, or economics or recognised Accounting qualification e.g. ACCA
Very good command of English – a must
3 - 5 years’ experience within a large Shared Service environment or Finance management with proven operational improvement capabilities
Proven people management experience
Working knowledge of ERP Accounting systems e.g. SAP, Navision, Navins
