Accounting Supervisor/Manager

In this pivotal role, you will oversee accounting functions for Soy Processing and select Refined Oils operations, while ensuring that all activities align with our business objectives and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

About the Role
This leadership position provides a unique opportunity to drive financial excellence within AGP’s soybean processing operations. You will oversee Profit & Loss (P&L) statements for multiple locations, collaborate with plant and corporate leadership on financial strategies, and play a key role in ensuring the plant’s compliance with company hedging policies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage accounting operations for multiple locations, with a focus on soy processing and refined oils. Provide strategic insights for long-term budget planning and financial analysis. Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team. Ensure the quality of accounting outputs through reviews, performance feedback, and targeted training. Analyze and interpret monthly financial statements, production costs, and inventory data. Oversee compliance with company hedging policies and manage the plant’s hedge positions. Lead special projects and work closely with upper management to support business growth initiatives.
