We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to lead our Accounting, Tax and Securitization receivables product delivery. This role demands a strong understanding of Ford Credit business processes and a comfort working in "white space" to define and shape this innovative receivables and servicing product. You will play a critical role in advocating and executing the product vision, strategic direction, and roadmap, ensuring it aligns with Ford Credit's broader transformation goals.
• Deliver the overall vision and product strategy.
• Must remove uncertainty, making it very clear what capabilities should be developed within the new originations & servicing lending platform or be developed within the Ford Credit integration layer.
• Engage closely with the Engineering team to help determine the best technical implementation methods and reasonable implementation schedule, as well as provide support after execution.
• Collect and incorporate stakeholder input from technical teams, privacy, legal, risk, compliance, finance, accounting, etc. to have the proper capabilities and priority on the roadmap.
• Develop and prioritize accounting, tax and securitization business requirements across enterprise software platforms and applications.
• Understand customer needs to develop detailed current and future state product requirements that identify market opportunities.
• Prioritize the development and launch of new Receivable Servicing capabilities and products on a regular basis while identifying measures of success.
You'll have...
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or similar experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Experience in Financial institutions.
• Organizational and time management skills to keep teams and projects on schedule.
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills for working in a global environment.
Even better, you may have...
• 2+ years working experience in Atlassian JIRA/Rally.
• Experience with GCP is a plus.
• Experience in coaching and mentoring Product Analysts.
• SAFe Agilist certification.

What you'll do...
Strategic Leadership: Leads strategic product planning and development throughout the product lifecycle. This includes advocating for vision and goals while aligning the strategy with business objectives and prioritizing the roadmap for the Receivables product, ensuring it aligns with Ford Credit's overall transformation and platform roadmap.
Requirements Definition & Prioritization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, to identify, analyze, and prioritize business requirements by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Develops product backlog of epics, features and user stories.
• Translate requirements into robust features and user stories to enable configurations within the new vended platform and development within Ford Credit integration layer.
• Ensure accounting, tax or securitization rules and impacted areas are captured sufficiently for configurators to build the new system
• Ensure GIS standards, retention requirements and other compliance rules are captured for each receivable area
• Ensures internal, state and federal audit requirements are sufficiently captured
• Write compelling Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) to ensure effective communication, alignment, and execution, ultimately leading to a more modern and efficient receivables platform.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Gather and incorporate input from a diverse range of stakeholders, including technical teams, privacy and legal experts, risk and compliance professionals, finance and accounting teams, vendors, and customers. This collaborative approach will inform the prioritization of features and capabilities on our product
Metrics Development: Defines success criteria, authors OKRs, drives KPI usage and outcomes for products and tracks performance against these metrics
Market and User Research: Conduct research to understand user needs, pain points, and market opportunities. Pitch new ideas and products to leadership.
Product Launch & Adoption: Ensure a smooth launch of the Minimum Marketable Product capabilities and drive adoption across the organization, providing ongoing support and training as needed.
Continuous Improvement: Monitor product performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements to optimize efficiency and user experience.
