*The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Business and Financial Services Division in Helena.* The Accounting Technician is responsible for researching, coding, and entering various incoming cash and accounts receivable payments through State banking and Point of Sale systems into the DPHHS receipting system and/or SABHRS. The position is responsible for ensuring that the established internal controls relating to the collection process are maintained. The Accounting Technician is responsible for interacting with internal and external clients on a regular basis, including other DPHHS program accounting staff. This position provides assistance and training to new and existing DPHHS staff in the use of check scanning through the State’s banking vendor.
