Summary This position is located at the Fort Campbell MWR Financial Management Branch. This position is eligible for the NAF benefits package and leave accrual. Responsibilities Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of accounting documents submitted by assigned activities. Guards against fraud, waste and abuse with ethical oversight of cash accountability. Maintains assigned subsidiary ledgers for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, customer deposits, unearned income, annual leave payables, equipment, and prepaid items. Integrates accounting requirements with Financial Management processes including internal controls, cash management, and daily activity reporting. Determines that all transactions are properly processed in agreement with predetermined control tables. Analyzes and reviews reports ensuring accounting data is valid and that it adheres to prescribed regulatory manuals and procedures. Researches erroneous financial conditions to determine cause. Takes corrective action to bring reports and listings into balance. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Qualification Requirements: Work experience performing accounting support duties as described above. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
