Waccamaw Management has an open position in our Accounting Department for an exceptional, experienced person to provide support for our accounting staff, as well as, services for Home Owner Associations by performing transition in and out activities. This position will work within both our Myrtle Beach and Pawleys Island office.
\n\nResponsibilities and Duties:
\n\nPlans, directs and coordinates activities to ensure project goals are accomplished within defined scope and on time.\nServe as single point of contact for prior management company or new management company based on direction of transition.\nIdentifies resources needed and assign tasks to internal parties involved in transition process.\nRequest, receive, track and file all transition documents.\nCommunicate with prior management or new management company on outstanding items and follow-up needs as appropriate.\nTrack and manage task deadlines as assigned to internal/external parties.\nProduce routine summary reporting of transition status.\nProduce standardized material for use in transition process i.e. transition notifications, checklists etc.\nIdentify areas of efficiency and implement new processes to enhance transition experience.\nTravel for the purpose of picking up or dropping off transition items.\nUpload and process accounting information in our software.\nEnter homeowner information in our software.\nWork closely with accounting department and Controller to insure transition in and out of property.\nProvide accounting documents for each transition out.\nManage accounting only properties to include…\n\nProcessing AP weekly\nPreparing budgets\nWorking directly with boards in regards to financials\nHandle delinquencies\nProcess bank transfers as needed\nAdditional duties or job functions may be required as necessary.\n\n\n\n RequirementsSkills and Qualifications:
\n\nProficient knowledge of MS Office programs - Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat.\nAnalytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills\nStrong organizational and time management skills\nDetail oriented with ability to multi-task, coordinate multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines\nAbility to work independently with limited supervision\nAbility to establish and maintain good working relationships\nPositive attitude and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with audiences at various levels both inside and outside of Waccamaw Management.\nAbility to maintain confidentiality of information\nKnowledge of general accounting principles, practices, and procedures\nExperience in HOA management very beneficial but not required\nMust pass background check and drug screen\nTwo years’ experience in accounting\n\nPhysical Requirements:
\n\nMust be able to sit, stand, walk, kneel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, crawl, talk, hear, push, pull, grasp, use hands and fingers, have clear vision and lift up to 25 pounds.
