**THE OPPORTUNITY**
Are you a finance professional looking for a challenging and rewarding role? We’re seeking an Accounting & Treasury Financial Specialist to become a key business partner within our company.
As an Accounting & Treasury Financial Specialist, you will ensure the execution and accuracy of all treasury and accounting activities, acting according to the strategy and direction of our Corporate Cash Management.
But that's not all! You will also provide credit management and accounting support in all required areas. This position offers the opportunity to interact with international stakeholders of the Boehringer Ingelheim Group.
This position is based in Brussels (Belgium) and reports directly to the Finance & Administration Manager.

**YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Manage international Financial System (IFS) & Financial Hub Activities.
+ Provide accounting support in all required areas.
+ Handle credit management tasks.
+ Manage intercompany loan agreements in both local and foreign currencies.
+ Perform FX hedging transactions to mitigate foreign currency risk.
+ Implement corporate policies and requirements, such as pricing adjustments in the international loan portfolio.
+ Conduct internal and external reporting (e.g., TIS), including central bank reporting.

**WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM**
+ Bachelor’s degree in accounting with experience in Treasury.
+ Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch and/or French required.
+ Knowledge in accounting, financing, reporting, and general IT applications (SAP).
+ At least 2-3 years of professional experience in an accounting and finance/treasury area.
+ Strong analytical and holistic conceptual thinking skills.
+ High level of self-organization, commitment, and flexibility.
+ Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, including the ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving regulatory environment.
