Accounts and Invoicing Specialist, Vyta (1 Year Contract)

Education
College Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Experience
1-3 years of experience in business, financial, account managementor related roles.  Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.  
Experience in technology start-ups.

Other Skills and Abilities
•    Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills with effective problem-solving abilities.
•    Proficiency in accounting software, CRM software, Microsoft Office Suiteand related tools.
•    Proven experience as a billing clerk or bookkeeper.
•    Experience with insurance claims and direct billing processes.
•    Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial record-keeping, and payroll systems.
•    Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail with high level of accuracy overseeing transactions, data and reports.
•    Exceptional prioritization and time management skills.
•    Familiarity with medical or business insurance billing procedures.
•    Experience handling accounts payable/receivable.
•    Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
•    Ability to work in a start-up environment and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.

Must possess strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively with both clients and internal teams. Exceptional customer relations and teamwork skills; proficiency in Windows applications, database management, e-mail and the internet; administrative or executive level writing skills; demonstrated ability to establish priorities, handle multiple tasks and work independently and as a team member; strong commitment to continual learning; fluency in written and spoken English.
