Financial Reporting and Analysis Manager

Role.

The Accounts Assistant will work within the financial reporting and analysis team with the role being 
fundamental to the collection and processing of financial data of the business.


Duties and Responsibilities.
- Recording and reconciliation of visa / expenses 
- Ensuring all payments amounts & records are accurate.
- Preparation of statutory accounts.
- Working with data to process journals – analyzing GL and cost centers.
- Planning and budget control.
- Assisting Financial Reporting Analyst with monthly management reports
- Assisting in the preparation of financial data
- Supporting the other Accounts Assistant and act as a back up for periods of leave. 
- Provide support to the Financial Reporting Analyst & FR&A Manager in the planning and 
monitoring of month end processes.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts to include journals, reconciliations, profit margin 
and variance analysis.
- Responsible for intercompany reconciliations and reporting.
- Assist with the monthly information reporting pack to group.
- Assist with budget and forecasting analysis and commentaries.
- Financial analysis and controlling of overheads.
- Assisting in the preparation of tax returns and statutory accounts.
- Responsible for supporting the financial reporting team.
- Banking duties including authorising invoices and payments in accordance with regulations and 
procedures.
- Point of contact for auditors and dealing with any queries.
- Ad hoc duties and projects as requested by the business.


Skills and Experience
- 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Leaving certificate accountancy/Business Related 3rd level Qualification and/or commenced a 
recognised accountancy technician’s course desirable but not essential.
- Strong Reconciliation/problem solving skills.
- Experience with SUN/SAP accounting system preferable but not essential.
- Experience working within a busy Finance department preferable but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Good collaborative skills, able to quickly establish effective internal and external working 
relationships with key people across different services/functions.
- Calmness and ability to respond effectively when under pressure e.g. in an emergency.
- Ability to meet daily/weekly / monthly deadlines.
- Ability to work flexibly on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Sound knowledge of MS Excel.
