**DESCRIPTION**
We are looking for a talented **Accounts Associate** to join our team in **Puchong, Malaysia Branch.**
Ensures completion of account reconciliation and analysis, journal entry preparation and data entry. Completes the month-end close process. Performs activities under minimal supervision.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Compiles, consolidates and conducts analysis of accounting and finance information.
+ Prepares standard journal entries that require analysis.
+ Performs more complex monthly and annual account reconciliations.
+ Prepares tables, charts and other exhibits for reports.
+ May perform complex accounting projects or participate as a team member on complex projects.
+ Performs ad hoc reporting requests as needed.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
+ **A two year University degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.**
+ Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
+ Participates in Month-end close, with focus on posting of assigned journal entries and closing tasks, with focus on AM transactions and other related accounting entries.
+ Preparation of assigned Balance Sheet Reconciliations, participate in BS Recon escalation meetings with Regional Leaders
+ Preparation of month-end reports
+ Prime margin analysis
+ Various adhoc analysis
+ Business partnering for AM (local stakeholders)
+ Support in annual and interim statutory audits (preparations of schedules, coordination with auditor for audit report
+ Preparation oof tax reports
+ Statutory income tax
+ Corporate tax (PTR, TPA, IDR)
+ Preparation of SDM reports relating to Taxes
+ Preparation of AM Commissions
