The Accounts Executuve reports directly to the Accountant and is responsible for day-to-day financial operations.

 

Your responsibilities:

Responsible for full scope of accounts payable (payment processing and reconciliation) and accounts receivable (billing, collection and reconciliation) functions Send weekly reminders to operations to follow up on AR and AP status Maintain customer and vendor master data profiles in financial ERP system Perform due diligence for new vendors to be created in financial ERP system by verifying vendor details filled in vendor forms and supporting documents provided by vendor Work closely with operations team on billing and AR collection matters Check and prepare payments, ensuring all transactions are with proper approval, recorded timely and accurately in financial ERP system Verify all payment and claims for reimbursement, corporate card and travel expenses Prepare some month end journal entries in compliance with local GAAP and company policies (e.g. monthly revenue recognition for certain business units) Ensure sufficient supporting documents are attached to each journal Ensure timely closing of month end report and related deliverables in accordance with global/regional calendar Follow up closely on outstanding finance matters Ensure all accounting records are properly filed and maintained Report to Account and/or Regional Finance Manager on any important mattersarising as soon as they have made known or identified, so that necessary actions can be taken Assist in process improvement projects and ad-hoc matters as assigned

 

We’re looking for you if your profile matches the following:

Diploma/degree in accounting / finance or equivalent with professional certification with local or international accountancy body Candidates with 1-2 years of accounting/finance experience and fresh graduates are welcomed to apply Proficiency in Sun Microsystems/SAP (not a must) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) preferred. Good quantitative analytical skills with eye for details Good Communication and interpersonal skills Good team player with ability to work independently Proactive, positive and capable of problem solving Ability to remain calm under pressure
