Accounts Executive

The Accounts Executive responsible to handle Accounts Payable (AP) activities, ensure accuracy and timely processing, follow policies and procedures or relevant regulations.

Main duties include:

Verify and process payments, ensuring proper authorization and documentation;Perform inter-company schedules, monthly provisions and accruals journals;Assist in extracting information for external auditors, tax agent, government bodies and banks for operational issues;Contribute to department projects such as system enhancements, e-invoicing implementation etc.;Prepare and manage SST/ statutory submissions;Act as back up for accounts receivable (AR) functions such as AR receipts, weekly sales report, claim count report, AR chaser etc;Any other matters to be assigned from time to time by the superiors

Main requirements:

LCCI / Diploma or Degree in Accounting or equivalent.3-5 years of relevant accounting experience in the relevant position.Computer literate with sound knowledge in usage of accounting software.Advanced Excel skills.Advanced Access skills.Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia.Able to communicate to Managers, Colleagues and Suppliers confidently.Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.You’ll be a team player with willingness to help others beyond their formal roleDetailed and consistent follow-up, able to multi-task and willing to learn.
