Accounts Payable Analyst, LATAM Travel and Expense
Description Corporate Accounts Payable (Corp AP) analyst plays an important role in the organization, by reviewing and auditing reports from Latin American employees regarding business expenses. Corporate AP team handles payments to vendors for a large set of the categories of Amazon’s expenses. That includes corporate expenses, Employee Expense reports, and Amazon Web Services. The SJO operation is looking for a result driven, creative problem solver to join us as Accounts Payable – LATAM Travel and Expense analyst. The successful candidate should have a passion for research and learning, process improvement, process mapping and excellent customer service. Key job responsibilities -Responsible for the functions assigned within LATAM Travel and Expense, such as auditing reports, customer service and troubleshooting. -Understanding and utilizing resources provided by internal system, departments, policies and procedures. -Focus on controllership and quality assurance. -Follows clear instructions; applies the best response to multiple-choice situations. -Showcase the highest levels of controllership and ethics, while ensuring process and policies adherence. A day in the life As a LATAM Travel and Expense specialist, your day revolves around meticulous auditing of expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies. You provide expert customer service, addressing employee inquiries with clarity and professionalism. Troubleshooting system issues and interpreting complex policies are key aspects of your role. Your work demands a keen eye for detail, strong ethical judgment, and the ability to navigate multiple-choice scenarios effectively. By day's end, you've upheld the highest levels of financial integrity and policy adherence in the dynamic realm of corporate travel and expenses. Com) Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications Speak, write, and read fluently in English Experience in finance operations/shared services, accounts payable, account receivable (collections) or general ledger Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of finance operations/shared services, accounts payable, account receivable (collections) or general ledger experience Speak, write, and read in Portuguese.
