Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team in Schenectady, New York. As part of this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance, and improving operational efficiency. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with a strong background in accounts payable, accounting systems, and financial processes. Responsibilities: • Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently, including subcontractor, equipment, services, advisory, and finance invoices. • Address urgent matters promptly within the accounts payable workflow to maintain seamless operations. • Collaborate with Project Management and Construction teams to streamline purchase order processing, cost tracking, and variance analysis. • Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals and balance sheet account reconciliations. • Execute weekly payments through NetSuite, including wire transfers and bank transactions. • Partner with the Structured Finance team to oversee lien waiver requirements and establish a comprehensive tracking system. • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and property tax filings. • Contribute to year-end audits by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and accrual accounting processes. • Proficiency with accounting software systems such as NetSuite, ADP, and Concur. • Strong understanding of account coding and data processing. • Familiarity with auditing practices and Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions. • Ability to manage high volumes of invoices and meet strict deadlines. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across teams. • Experience with tax filings and year-end audit support.
